» Map of Memory Chain + Where I'm From = Hypertext Poem
Use this as your guide in creating a hypertext poem using your Where I’m From poem and your Memory Chain stories. See what you have finished, and what else you need to do.
We’re making groups today. Each Group will work on something different.
Group A
Anthony R., Anthony Ros, Damien, Miriam, Tayron, Victoria
- Finish the “Where I’m From” Chart in Docs.
- Write a poem like the “Where I’m From” poem (column 4).
- Copy and paste the poem (only) into your Tumblelog. (username.tumblr.com)
- Copy the link from the time-posted under your poem on your tumblelog, and paste this link into a post on Youth Twitter.
- Go to your email, and answer the email from Paul Allison: Hypertextopia Project. Complete the survey, and Submit.
Group B
Cecilio, Adam, Hermis, Rhonda, Sam
- Finish making your chain of 15 - 20 memories in Hypertextopia.
- Add a story to each of your boxes. Answer these questions for each memory:
- Who was there?
- What happened to you? What did you do?
- Where did this happen? (Use sensuous details.)
- Why do you think this is a memory that sticks?
- How do you want your reader to react?
- Add a Creative Commons (CC) image to each box. (No copyrighted Google images!)
- When you find an CC image, save it to your desktop.
- Then upload it using the Upload image link in the bottom right of each memory box in Hypertextopia.
- Go to your email, and answer the email from Paul Allison: Hypertextopia Project. Complete the survey, and Submit.
Group C
Aaron, Andrea, Christian, Flordalis, Veronica

- Go to the Reading mode in Hypertextopia, and find three of your stories that seem important to you, and that relate to each other in some way.
- Copy each of these stories with the images.
- Paste the three of them into one New Document in Docs.
- Add another paragraph at the end explaining why these memories stick with you and why you think they are related.
- Copy and paste this document into a text box on your tumblelog, and publish it.
